A.P.A.V., Refugio Happy, JC Puppy Rescue

We are a passionate and dedicated team, united by our love for animals and our desire to help, rescue, and give them a second chance. Our mission is to take in, care for, and rehabilitate abandoned, abused, and vulnerable animals, finding them loving and responsible homes.

Get to know us

A.P.A.V. (Asociacion Protectora de Animales) and JC Puppy Rescue have partnered to create Refugio Happy. We would like to introduce you to the construction project of our Refugio Happy, a shelter to support abandoned, abused pets and farm animals, or those seeking a new home.
The goal of this project is to provide dogs, cats, and other animals with safe, comfortable, and loving accommodations, ensuring they receive the care they need and live in an environment conducive to their rehabilitation.

Our partner veterinary clinics

All of our animals are examined and medically cared for upon arrival by our affiliated veterinarians. They provide comprehensive medical care, including deworming, vaccinations, spaying, neutering, and any necessary treatments. We thank the veterinarians for their tireless efforts.

WHAT WE DO

SHELTER AND CARE:
We provide each animal with safe, comfortable accommodations and ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
 
 
 
VETERINARY CARE:
Our affiliated veterinarians provide comprehensive medical care, including deworming, vaccinations, spaying, neutering, and any necessary treatment.
TRAINING AND SOCIALIZATION:
We work to restore the animals' trust in humans and prepare them for successful adoption.
RESPONSIBLE ADOPTION:
We carefully select the adoptive families to ensure a harmonious and long-term integration of the animals into their new homes
Support options

How can you help?

We rely on material and financial support. Find out how you can support us. We thank all our supporters from the bottom of our hearts. With your help, we can make the world a little better.

Donate food

We constantly need food for our dogs and cats, for example for babies: Royal Canin Starter and Puppy and for adult dogs and cats: Taste of the Wild, Pacific Stream.

Foster home

Rescued dogs are placed in foster homes if they can't be rehomed immediately. We are always looking for new foster homes.
All costs are covered by the association.

Financial donation

You can make a financial contribution of any amount to cover costs (e.g., veterinary care, food, infrastructure, transport, etc.).

This can be a one-time or monthly donation.

Adopt a puppy

We care for and provide medical care for found puppies, microchip them, and vaccinate them.

Only afterward are they made available for adoption. We carefully select adoptive parents to provide the dogs with a loving home.

Become a member

Membership starts at just €50.- per year. Contact us so we can add you to our membership register.

Social media

Share our posts on social media such as Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp etc. This will help more people see our work and support us.
